Here’s our final project website! The members included me (Nithin Poreddy), Will Hassell, Liam Keane, Griffin Momsen-Hudson, and Will Shrestha. Our project looked at Caleton’s radio station, KRLX, and visualized the changes in its most popular artists and songs from 2013-2021. Furthermore, we compared these findings to the top artists seen each year on music streaming apps such as Spotify to see how Carleton’s music taste compares to that of the general population. We got access to repositories stored in KRLX and used Flourish to visualize the data changes over time. Overall, we had fun learning more about the history of KRLX and learning new skills along the way.
